About our Kyneton Childcare & Kindergarten
At Embracia Childcare and Kindergarten Kyneton, we offer high-quality long daycare services for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years (preschool age) from 7.00am – 6.00pm. Embracia Kyneton also offers funded 3 and 4-year-old Kinder programs, so we can offer a continuous learning experience for your child until they begin school.
Nestled in the picturesque Kyneton and purpose built with the community and your whole family in mind. Conveniently located at the historic Old Kyneton Hospital site, our centre opened its doors in August 2023.
We keep our age groups close in each room to ensure all our children have the opportunity to connect and engage with children their own age. We utilise our larger outdoor play spaces to allow children to play with children in wider age groups. This helps encourage social skills as well as to assist children to mirror the fine motor and gross motor skills of older children.
Our inclusive environment is at the heart of everything we do, and we celebrate diversity with a variety of cultural events throughout the year. These initiatives inspire and educate children about the beauty of different cultures, helping them understand that diversity is something to be embraced and celebrated.
Nursery
In the early stages of a child’s growth, it’s important to offer a loving, safe, and comforting environment. That’s why our Kyneton nursery is carefully designed with sustainability in mind, featuring sensory-rich activities, outdoor play areas, and dedicated cot spaces for rest times.
The children enjoy spacious and engaging play areas, and particularly love to play by the beautiful bay window at the Kyneton Centre.
Toddlers
As toddlers explore and begin to express themselves, we encourage their growth through child-led learning. Our approach provides a variety of resources and dedicated spaces that spark creativity in various ways like building, music, arts, literacy, science, and technology. To keep them engaged and inspired, we frequently update and expand our learning spaces, allowing children to explore their interests and support their ongoing development.
Kindergarten
Our team of dedicated, Bachelor-qualified Kindergarten Teachers have carefully designed a program focused on preparing your child for key developmental milestones and school. In our kindergarten, children learn essential routines while also building important social and emotional skills that will support their future education.
Our unique curriculum is both enriching and diverse, featuring programs such as ‘Togetherness with the Elderly,’ and incorporating elements of Aboriginal heritage, nature, and community.
