As a family owned early learning centre, Embracia are passionate about family values and embed this in all we do. Welcoming your child as one of our own, we provide high quality care and education for all our children in collaboration with their families, the surrounding environment, and the wider community.
Our approach is based on Play Based Philosophy — Playing to Learn/Learning to Play, along with heavy influences from Steiner Early Education which focuses on laying foundations for later learning and healthy development, including life-long physical, social, emotional and holistic growth.
We take a well-rounded approach to education and understand the value and impact our educators make on the lives of little ones. Embracia is determined to pave the way for a future where every child’s potential is nurtured and celebrated, setting the stage for a lifelong journey of learning and exploration.
Cynthia O’donohue, Educational Leader
Cynthia has taken the influential role of our Educational Leader at Embracia Childcare and is ready to embark on this exciting new journey with us. Her passion for early childhood education started 20 years ago as an Activity Coordinator at a school camp. That was until eight years ago, when Cynthia moved into early childhood education and thoroughly enjoyed watching the growth and development of the children in her care.
Having two children and eight grandchildren herself, she believes providing a nurturing and inclusive environment during a child’s formative years is the cornerstone of fostering a lifelong love of learning and exploration. Embracia’s commitment to promoting positive outcomes for children and families resonates deeply with Cynthia who has always strived to create an environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported on their unique growth journey.
Throughout her career, Cynthia has held leadership positions that have afforded her the opportunity to guide and mentor fellow educators. This has empowered them to deliver exceptional learning experiences for children. Embracia’s emphasis on enhancing educators’ knowledge, skills, and professionalism deeply resonates with Cynthia, and she is excited to contribute to her colleagues’ professional development.
